About Us

Long Way Round Distilling Co. started small — really small. What began as a husband-and-wife passion project grew from a backyard idea into a genuine love for making great spirits and sharing them with others.

Built from the ground up, the distillery began as a true nano-distillery, with plenty of late nights, plenty of learning, and a lot of hands-on work. Along the way, what started as a hobby quickly became something much bigger — a business, a creative outlet and a community of people who shared the same appreciation for good drinks made with care.

As the business grew, so did the vision. A close friend, Anthony, eventually came on board as a co-owner, bringing new ideas, energy and a shared ambition to take Long Way Round to the next stage.

That next step has brought the team to our new home in Seaton, where we are continuing to grow while staying true to where it started. The new premises gives us more room to make, experiment, host and create — while keeping the hands-on, independent spirit that has always been at the heart of the distillery.

Long Way Round is still proudly independent, still learning and still making things the way we want to make them. At our core, it's about good spirits, good people and enjoying the journey along the way.
